The Aurora Council supports a number of organizations and events throughout the year.
Aurora Council Pearl Harbor Luncheon
In 1969 the annual Pearl Harbor Day luncheon was conceptualized and started by Ted Brattin, and still continues as the flagship function of the Aurora Council.
The 786 Club formed from the Commissioning Committee for the USN Illinois (SSN 786) with the intent to support the crew and families of the boat into the future.

Ted Brattin Youth Service Awards
The Ted Brattin Youth Service Awards recognize Fox Valley youth, 14 to 19 years of age, who have exhibited qualities of citizenship, service, and leadership, as demonstrated through activities in school, church, or community. The award is a program of the Rotary Club of Aurora and is presented each year at the Aurora Council Pearl Harbor luncheon.
